This is the in-person portion of the two-part hybrid training for medical volunteers interested in volunteering at SCHD vaccination clinics.
Part 1: Virtual
Volunteers will need to complete CDC You Call the Shots modules and view some additional videos.
Upon completion of the CDC modules and viewing the additional videos, volunteers can submit their course transcript from MRC Train and training guide to Amanda to be placed on file.
· Training modules can be found on MRC Train: Course ID 7566 You Call the Shots: Immunization Training series.
· List of additional videos are included in the SCHD Vaccination Skills training guide. This guide will be sent to volunteers after registering for the course.
Part 2: In-person
Volunteers will participate in an in-person training and assessment with the Health Department Vaccination team.
Additional notes:
· Volunteers will need to complete both the virtual and in-person portion of the training prior to participating at a vaccination clinic.
