Who We Are
Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a community-based volunteer program sponsored by the Snohomish County Health Department that strengthens and expands the local public health system's response during a health emergency or disaster.
The mission of the Snohomish County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is to allow local volunteer medical, and non-medical professionals to contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year as well as during times of community need. Our Medical Reserve Corps unit is made of volunteers who can assist our community during emergencies, such as natural disasters, unintentional or intentional manmade disasters.
The Snohomish County MRC was one of the first Washington state units, established in 2003. We are one of nearly 1,000 nationally recognized units and is part of Washington Region 1 which serves Tulalip Tribes and Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juan and Island counties.
